Norma J. Lammers, 74, of Kearney, passed away Saturday June 15, 2013 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
Services will be Friday, June 21, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Evangelical Free Church in Kearney with Pastor Mike Shields officiating. Burial will be in the Kearney Cemetery. Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral and Cremation Services in Kearney are in charge of arrangements.
Norma was born October 14, 1938 in Litchfield, Nebraska to Charles H. and Rose (Ellsworth) Swanson. She attended school in Litchfield and was a graduate of Litchfield High School in 1956. Norma married LeRoy K. Lammers on September 1, 1957 in Litchfield. They lived in Kearney where they were members of the Kearney Evangelical Free Church.
Surviving relatives include her husband, LeRoy of Kearney;
two daughters:Shellie Ingersoll and her husband Odee of Kearney and Cynthia of Grand Island; four grandchildren:
Matthew, Courtney, Jordan and Rene' of Kearney: three sisters: Bernadine Alexander of Des Moines, IA; Phyllis Rasmussen and her husband Wendell of Hazard, NE and Pat Aden of Carbondale, IL
Norma was preceded in death by one son-Mitch on February 7, 1981, one brother-Lavern and one sister-Gwen Eastabrooks.
