Andrew Ancel Gibbens (this is how he spelled his last name) came from Oil City, Pennsylvania. On October 27, 1902 he left Pennsylvania and traveled West with his wife and children with horse and wagon.

They settled for a time in Athol, Idaho where Sarah died. Andrew continued his trek to Canada. He went to Canada as a prospector - prospecting for gold.

Andrew Ancel married Sarah Yargar/Yeager and had 8 children.
