Bridget Lynch Evans was born in Ireland and immigrated to the United States with her sister Catherine Lynch in 1910. She married John T. Evans and they had a daughter Marjorie. Bridget also cared for her sister's child Ellen Lynch due to Catherine's illness with tuberculosis. Bridget was known to all the family as 'Aunty'.
