Last week claimed a worthy and respected citizen of Eganville in the person of Mr. Francis J. Kimberley, 55 years, 9 mos. The end came on Wednesday, July 26.
Born at Osceola. At 18 he obtained employment at Scotch Bush, Grattan Twp. Two years later he married Elizabeth J. Henderson of that place, whom he leaves with a family of five children: Rev. Sister Dosithea of the St. Joseph's Community, Port Arthur; William of Buffalo, Alberta; James of Renfrew; Mrs. Gudreau of Eganville; Mrs. Joseph Larmo (Larmond) of Perreault. Siblings: James Kimberley of North Onlsow; Denis of Thessalon, Ont.; Mrs. M. J. McGuire, Pembroke.
The family became residents of Eganville five years ago, Mr. Kimberley continuing his business as well digger which extended over a wide territory. He was a man of integrity and of frank and honest bearing.
