BAKER, Shirley A., age 77, passed away Monday, December 1, 2003. Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Ethel Main; siblings, Mary, Edward and Robert; daughter, Betsy; and husband, Frank who died in 2000. She is survived by daughter, Claudia (Peter) Penczar of San Diego; sons, Michael (Angie) Baker of Sierra Vista, and Terence (Suzan) Baker of Tucson; grandchildren, Marybeth, Timothy, Celine Ann, Jarred, Michael, Meghan, and Noah; great-grandchildren, Maia, Micah, Makai, and Christian; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Baker was a regular volunteer at St. Joseph Hospital. A visitation will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, 215 S. Craycroft Wednesday, December 3, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., with the Rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 4, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church. Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Desert Cemetery. ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Dodge Chapel in charge of arrangements.
