Robert H. Broome III, 48, of Jeannette, died Saturday, May 6, 2006, at his residence. He was born April 17, 1958, in Wilkinsburg, a son of Doris Henry Broome, of Jeannette, and the late Robert H. Broome Jr. Robert was employed by Trusco Co. Inc., of Smithton, and was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam era. He was a member of the Bushy Run American Legion Post #260 of Claridge, the Polish Brotherhood of White Eagles, Jeannette, and the St. Joseph Beneficial Society of Westmoreland City. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, John B. and Grace Henry; and his paternal grandparents, Robert H. and Cathleen Broome. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, JoAnn Heide Broome; his children, Joshua Broome and wife, Lisa, of Waldorf, Md., Robert Broome and Marissa Broome, both of Harrison City; a granddaughter, Destini; a stepson, Nathaniel Zack, of Jeannette; three sisters, Debi Lipko and husband, Jerry, of North Huntingdon, Cindy Doyle and husband, Steve, of Kentucky, and Kim Broome, of Jeannette; a brother, Randy Broome and wife, Sandy, of Claridge; two nephews; three nieces; two great-nephews; a great-niece; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the JOHN V. GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 228 N. Second St., Jeannette. A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Richard Krug officiating. The Bushy Run American Legion Post #260 will hold services at 3 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
