Barbara Holihan Hohm, 87, of Syracuse, died on Monday at Crouse Hospital. She was a graduate of Central High School and a member of Lyceum Sorority. She retired from Addis & Deys and had formerly worked for the New York Telephone Company. She was a communicant of All Saints' Church and a volunteer for over 20 years at Community General Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, John F. Hohm Jr. who died in 1964 and her parents, were Frederick and Ruth Holihan. She is survived by her three sons, John F. Hohm III of Syracuse, Dr. Craig E. (Sue) Hohm of Penn Yan, NY, James C. Hohm of Memphis, NY; a daughter, Diane H. (Leo) Berman of Syracuse; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two nieces and two nephews. The Hohm family would like to thank the Cunningham Eighth Floor staff and residents for their care, compassion and friendship they gave to Barbara. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. in All Saints' Church with burial to follow in Saint Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Frasier-Shepardson Funeral Home, 1217 North Salina Street.Memorial contributions may be made to All Saints' Church, 112 Lancaster Avenue, Syracuse 13210.
