Katherine M. Landes, 81, passed away at home June 25, 2005. Katherine was born November 15, 1923, in Billings, Oklahoma to Ernest E. and Ruth A. (Anspach) Rogers. She spent most of her life in the Oklahoma City area.

Katherine worked for the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission for thirty years. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Midwest City Chapter #491. Katherine was very involved in Bethel #2 International Order of Job's Daughters, where her granddaughters were members.

She loved to crochet and loved to visit family. She was very happy going to family reunions.

Katherine is survived by her daughter, Karen Riley, granddaughter, Lesa Riley, both of Del City, Ok., a sister-in-law, Elwanda Rogers of Hurst, Tx, nephews, Darrell Rogers of Corpus Christie, Tx. and niece, Janet Pearson, of Hurst, TX. She leaves a host of cousins.

Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, sister Ernistine Rogers, brother Don Rogers and granddaughter Kelly Riley.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Diabetic Association through Paylor Funeral Home.

We wish to thank Dr. Brad Marion and staff also Crossroads Hospice.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at 10AM at Paylor Funeral Home. Graveside services will also be Wednesday at 2PM at the Blackwell IOOF Cemetery, Blackwell, OK.
