Funeral from the O'Keefe Funeral Home Wednesday Jun 16 at 10 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to be present. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Memoriams in her honor may be made to the LARGE PRINT BOOK COLLECTION of the Taunton Public Library.

Mrs. Margaret F. Martin of Winthrop Street, a retired school teacher and wife of the late Joseph H. Martin, formerly of Reed and Barton Corporation, and the man after whom Martin Middle School was named, died Monday morning at Morton Hospital following a long illness. She was 91. Born in Taunton, she was a daughter of the late Attorney William E. and Ellen (Power) Kelley. Mrs. Martin was the mother of the late Attorney Richard K. Martin. A graduate of Taunton High School and the Rhode Island College of Education, Mrs. Martin was a teacher at both Weir and Cohannet Schools during her teaching career. A communicant of St. Joseph's Church, she was a member of the St. Joseph Women's Guild, the Queen's Daughters, and the Morton Hospital Auxiliary. For many years she was on the board of Directors of the Taunton Visiting Nurse Association. A lifetime resident of Taunton, Mrs. Martin spent many summers with her family at her North Falmouth Home. Mrs. Martin is survived by a son, David H. Martin of Taunton; three daughters, Mrs. Ruth H. Fitzsimmons of Hartsdale, NY, Mrs. William J. (Carol E.) McCarthy of Yonkers, NY, and Mrs. John J. (Constance A.) O'Hearne of Andover; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
