Duaine Edward Sorensen, 53, of Fredericksburg passed away Monday, June 17, 2013.
Duaine graduated from Spotsylvania High School in 1978 [sic 1979]. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was most recently a shop foreman for Del-Ray Glass in Alexandria.
Survivors include daughters Ashley Sorensen and Katie Sorensen; brother Barry Sorensen; stepmother Peggy Sorensen; and companion Risa Rogers and her sons, Jonathan Rogers and Josh Acors.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Sorensen, and father Edward H. Sorensen.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 20, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
A funeral will be held at noon Friday, June 21, at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with military honors.
