Cousin of Charles Sherwood Stratton ("Tom Thumb"). He is buried near his grandfather Samuel Edwards Stratton and great-grandfather Thomas Stratton. He was son of George Smith Stratton and Eliza Wooley. George Smith Stratton was first cousin to Sherwood Edwards Stratton, father of "Tom Thumb".
