BRANCH, Martha Frances, went to meet with her awaiting Savior on Saturday, June 15, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Isabelle Branch and Junius Russell Parham. She was preceded in death by a baby brother, and loving and devoted brother, Roy Edward Branch. She was born in Chesterfield, Va. She was educated in the Chesterfield County School System and received a BS degree in Elementary Education at Elizabeth City State University, Elizabeth City, N.C. She received her Masters of Education degree from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Va. She taught in the Caroline County Public School System for 38 years before retiring.

Martha leaves to cherish her memory a devoted cousin, James Branch and his wife, Gwendolyn Branch (caregivers); an aunt, Elnora Alexander of Chester, Va.; an uncle, Robert Branch, Mizpah Health Center, Saluda, Va.; two half-brothers, three half-sisters, a host of cousins, devoted friends and other relatives and friends.

She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Centralia, pastored by Dr. Wilson E.B. Shannon, 2920 Kingsdale Rd., N. Chesterfield, Va., where funeral services will be held on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 1 p.m. Interment at Sunset Memorial Park. Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St., Richmond, Va., where the family will receive friends on Thursday, June 20, 2013 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
