He was past owner/operator of Stricler Truss Company in Barstow. He was past President of Barstow Rotary Club and past President of Mojave River Valley Museum. He loved and taught line dancing. He had served in the U.S. Navy and attended the J Bar J Country Church. He married Donna Carter on September 3, 1949 at Barstow, CA.
He is survived by his wife, Donna, of Ruidoso; his daughter, Donna Lynn Stenstream of Cloudcroft, NM; his son, Gordon Blake Stricler of Salt Lake City, UT; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
