Dorothy M. Arnett Port Huron Dorothy M. Arnett, age 85, died Saturday, January 5th in Medilodge of Port Huron after a long illness. She was born June 8, 1927 in Port Huron to Ralph J. and Frances G. Irwin, and was a lifelong resident. She married Donald H. Arnett on January 20, 1947 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on September 7, 2008. Dorothy graduated from Port Huron High School in 1945. She worked at Michigan National Bank for many years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church where she and her husband Don volunteered for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Frances Arnett - Allen, 2 grandchildren, Timothy and Courtney Allen, a sister, Helen E. Garrett, 3 sisters-in-law, Katherine Arnett, Norma Arnett, and Sylvia Krinjob. Dorothy will be interred with her husband Don in the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Columbarium at 3 p.m. Friday with Deacon Dennis Crimmins officiating. www.smithfamilyfuneralhome.com.
