Mrs. Suzanna R. Zalno of Clearfield, PA, died on Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center West.
She was born in Clymer, PA the daughter of the late John P. and Anna (Sefchik) Boston.
Mrs. Zalno assisted her husband as the owner and operator of Zalno Jewelers in Clearfield for nearly thirty seven years. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and was a member of the American Legion Auxillary, John Lewis Shade Post #6, Clearfield.
She is survived by eight children; Leonard J. Zalno and his wife Sharyn of Harrison City, Irene M. McBride and her husband John of Clearfield, James T. Zalno and his wife Jane of Clearfield, Carol B. Zalno and her companion Terry E. Caldwell of Clearfield, Ronald J. Zalno and his wife Lisa of Clearfield, Robert D. Zalno and his wife Joy of Gibsonia, Kathy A. Shugarts and her husband Brian of Clearfield and Karen B. Ward and her husband Rick of Clearfield;nineteen grandchildren, Michael Zalno, Michele Zalno, Thomas McBride, Brian McBride, Eric McBride, Julie McBride, Jason Zalno, Beth Zalno, Lori Zalno, Matthew Norris, Mark C. Norris, Andrea Zalno, Lee Zalno, Janel Zalno, Amanda Zalno, Megan Shugarts, Alex Shugarts, Rebecca Ward and Richard J. Ward; two great-grandchildren, Christina McBride and Elise McBride; a brother and a sister, Pauline Wasik of Michigan and David Boston of Ohio and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Zalno is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph L. Zalno whom she married on July 2, 1949 and who died on August 7, 1997, a granddaughter, Christine McBride and nine brothers and sisters.
