A native of Cleveland, Mr. Buehl attended Orchard School here and went into business with his father, George, former proprietor of the Old American House barbershop on Bank Street (now West 6th St.). In his 44 years in the business Mr. Buehl, operated shops all over the city, including the onetime largest shop on the westside at, Lorain Ave. and West 45th Street.
Ten years ago, he also engaged in the radio repair business and he owned and operated a radio sales and service store at 15007 Detroit Ave. Lakewood, until shortly before his death.
He was a member of Halcyon Masonic Lodge and had belonged to Pearl Camp woodmen of the world for more than 40 years.
Mr. Buehl is survived by his wife, Cora, his father George 87 a sister Mrs. Margaret Scot and three brothers, John and Edward of Cleveland and Srgt. Herman with the Army in England.
