Troy J. Harper, 43, of Brookville, died at home Friday, June 21, 2013, after a hard-fought two-year battle against cancer.

Born Aug. 8, 1969, in Charleroi, Pa., he was the son of Rose Ann Fronzaglio Harper and the late William Harper.

He was a law partner at Dennison, Dennison & Harper Attorneys at Law.

Troy had much pride for the community and affiliated himself with many
organizations, including Brookville Hospital Board of Directors, Pinecrest Board of Directors, American Bar Association, Brookville Community Club and Thiel College Board of Trustees, as well as serving as the Jefferson County Republican Chairperson.

Troy was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and loved golfing with his buddies on Wednesdays.

Above all else, he loved watching his daughter swim for the high school swim team.

Troy was married to his high school sweetheart, Amy Romantino Harper, on Aug. 13, 1994.

In addition to his wife, Troy is survived by his beloved daughter, Ashton.

Troy is also survived by his mother, Rose Ann of Brookville; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rosemary and Art Budweiser of Barnegat, N.J.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in the Pittsburgh area.

Troy was preceded in death by his brother, Sean Harper; and his father,
William Harper.

Visitation hours for Troy will be from 2 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, 2013, at McKinney Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Brookville.

The Mass for Troy will take place at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 24, 2013, at the Immaculate Conception Church, Graham Avenue, Brookville, with the Rev. William Laska presiding.

There will be a graveside service held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 24, 2013, at the chapel at Monongahela Cemetery, 800 Country Club Rd., Monongahela, PA 15063.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Troy J. Harper Memorial Fund, S&T Bank, 256 Main St., Brookville, PA.
