In Shreveport
Mrs. Stella M. Smith died Friday, August 23 at a nursing home in Shreveport from a brief illness.
Graveside services were held at 5 p.m. Saturday, August 24, at the Arlington Cemetery, with the Rev. Walter Easton, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Burial was in Arlington Cemetery, under the direction of Davidson Funeral Home.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Thomas, of Homer; one son, Harold V. Smith of Memphis, Tenn.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
