Esteemed Resident of Hopewell Township Passes Away.
Mrs. W. C. McCord of Hopewell died yesterday morning at 3 o'clock at her home in the county. She was 63 years of age and was the widow of the late W. C. McCord. She was a daughter of the late J. C. Abernethy and is survived by one son, Mr. J. W. McCord of Hopewell and one sister, Miss Alice Abernethy and five brothers, namely Dr. J. S. Abernethy, J. F. and R. B. Abernethy of Hopewell and C. L. and W. S. Abernethy of Crab Orchard. The funeral will take place at Hopewell church this morning at 11 o'clock, the services being in charge of Rev. William Anderson. The interment will be made in the Hopewell cemetery. Mrs McCord had been a devoted member of this Church since childhood.
