Pearl Jane Hurley-Houston was a devoted mother of Forney Elwood Houston and Florence Marlene Houston-Lacy, and grandmother of two and great grandmother of five. She was the daughter of Charles Benton Hurley and Liza Jane Wilson-Hurley. She was the wife of Fielding Sanders Houston. My grandmother was a remarkable woman. She was best known for her cooking and hospitality and love of people. She will be missed by many and never forgotten. I have her to thank for my love of genealogy. Love you grandma, Love Nicole
