My Biological Father

Jim was a long time Semi truck driver for CJ Morris, then on to Yellow Transit and finally to Roadway Trucking where he drove for them for over thirty five years until
bad health forced him to retire.
He died from throat cancer at age 59. His daughter Jenny took care of him to the end doing everything in her power to ease his last days . He was buried on my thirty first birthday. I was unable to attend his funeral I had a major operation on the day he passed and lived 1300 miles away.

My sister Jenny , recalls him taking them all on camping trips. And how he would put her up on his shoulders and push her into the air to teach them to swim. She recalls that he was a very good swimmer.

Jim was married several times and the father of twelve children.

1. James Edward Cavin (1939-2000)

2. Claude James Cavin (1942-2007)
3. Robert Sewell Cavin
4. Lillian Ann Cavin Fischer (1945
