Hortencia G. Adrian, 89, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday morning, June 19, 2013 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas, where she was welcomed into the gates of Heaven by the Lord and is now resting in His righteous presence.
Tencha was born on September 10, 1923 to Ambrocio Garcia and Maria Montemayor Garcia in Premont, Texas. She was a wonderful and loving homemaker.
Hortencia reunited in Heaven with her parents; her husband of over 32 years, Luis S. Adrian; two daughters, Hilda and Maricela Adrian; son, Luis Adrian; granddaughter, Yvonne E.A. Castillo; grandson, Luis R. Adrian, Jr.; one sister and five brothers.
Tencha leaves behind to cherish her memories her four sons, Luis Rene (Norma) Adrian, Sr. of Premont, TX, Mario (Mary Castillo) Adrian of Premont, TX, Johnny (Lynn) Adrian of Kingsville, TX, Martin (Anna) Adrian of Rosenberg, TX; six daughters, Gloria Adrian of Premont, TX, Thelma A. Bernal of Premont, TX, Lydia (John) Castillo of Kyle, TX, Mary Lou (Ramon) Navarro of Premont, TX, Norma Sue Adrian of Kingsville, TX and Janie (Santiago Ramos) Adrian of Kyle, TX; 22 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2013 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 4:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Premont, Texas.
Burial will follow at the Premont Cemetery.
