DEATH NOTICES

THARP, JOHN FRED - Age 68 years, of Tower Hill 2 died in his home Sunday evening, February 16, 1958 at 9:45 P.M. following a lingering illness. He had been a resident of Fayette County since 1939.

Surviving is his wife, Ada Tharp; one daughter, Mrs. Mabel Marie Sanders of Mesa, Arizona; two grandsons; three brothers and three sisters, Levi and Abner of R. D., Waynesburg, Cecil of Waynesburg, Mrs. Amy Iams, Mrs. Ella Burge, Mrs. Lottie Ullom all of Waynesburg.

He was a member of the First Christian Church of Republic, where he had been a deacon for over 30 years and a honorary deacon for the past 5 years.

Arrangements under the direction of the Flack-Marucci Funeral Home, Legion St., Republic, will be announced later.

FUNERAL NOTICES

THARP, JOHN FRED - Friends will be received in the Flack-Marucci Funeral Home, Legion St., Republic, Pa., after 6 p.m. Thursday, until 12:30 p.m. Saturday, when the remains will be taken to the First Christian Church, Republic, to lie in State until 2:30 p.m., the hour of service with Rev. Arthur Markley officiating. Interment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park.
