Flonnie M. Lassiter, 81, of Harriman, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2008, in Roane Medical Center, Harriman.

She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by son, Alva D. Barefield; and daughter, Wilma Ann Overbee.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Russell Ray Barefield and Timothy Barefield, both of Harriman, John and Annie Barefield of Angier, N.C., Bill and Janet Littleton of Kenley, N.C., and Teddy Lassiter of Raleigh, N.C.; daughter and son-in-law, Josephine and Thomas Collins of Harriman; grandchildren, Rebecca Lynn Staton of Harriman, Ronald and Donald Barefield, Wanda Kay Robbins, Tracey Shadan, Wayne and Terry Littleton, April and Jason Barefield and John R. Barefield Jr.; sister, Ida Mae Overman of Oklahoma; special friends, Margie Underwood and Pat Davis; and several nieces, nephews, family, friends and loved ones.

Funeral service was at 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, in Davis Funeral Home, Harriman, with the Rev. Tommy Hensley officiating. Graveside service and burial were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Childs Memorial Cemetery, Harriman.
