TIPTON -- Funeral services for Mary V. Streit, age 98, of Tipton, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Tipton, with burial in St. Boniface Cemetery. Mrs. Streit died Thursday at Hilltop Lodge in Beloit.
Survivors are her children, Robert Streit, of Springdale, Ark., Dorothy Winkel, of Glen Elder, Maxine Winkel, of Cawker City, Estella Rankin, of Abilene, Benedict Streit, of Tipton, Martha Jean Heidrick, of Anthony, Jeanette Tate, of Loveland, Colo., Walter Streit, of Downs, Darlene Corwin, of Osborne, and Gary Streit, of Tipton; half sister, Veronica Becker, of Downs; 37 grandchildren; and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, where the parish vigil and rosary will be held at 7 p.m.
Memorials may be given to Tipton Christian School, Tipton Catholic School or St. Boniface Memorial Trust Fund. McDonald-Roberts Funeral Service, Beloit, is in charge of arrangements.
