She was a native Memphian, whose achievements included Messick High '49, Memphis Business School, 50-year CFO for Da-Le Electric Company, member and pre-school teacher at Bellevue Baptist Church. Virginia was a beloved lover of her family. Her survivors include: Husband, Darrell W. Orman, son, Darrell Patrick Orman (Kim), daughter, Elizabeth De Waal (Jose), and son, Shands W. Orman (Karen). She also leaves 3 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 3 great-grandchildren, her sister, Dorothy Walker (Louisville), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held at Memphis Funeral Home at 5599 Poplar Avenue on Friday morning, June 28th, at 9:30 a.m. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Graveside service and interment will be at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Forest Hill Irene Rd. at 11 a.m. The family requests donations can be made to the FBCS Preschool at fbcstuart.org.
