on June 7, 1998, at her residence in Texas City.

She was born on November 23, 1931, in Galveston.

She is survived by her husband, Gus A. Anderson Jr. of Texas City; father Edward Lee Powell; two daughters and sons-in-law; Karen and David Korkmas of The Woodlands, Texas, Jessica and Kevin Franks of Texas City, Texas; four sons and daughters-in-law; David and Patricia Anderson of Conroe, Texas, Michael and Jan Anderson of Texas City, Texas, Edward Anderson of Santa Fe, Texas and Gus Anderson III; one brother Travers Powell of Galveston; 10 grandchildren, two step-grandsons and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 9,, 1998, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the James Crowder Funeral Home- in La Marque. Graveside services will be Wednesday, June 10, 1998, at 10 a.m. at Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock, Texas, with Father Tom Cullen officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Galveston County.
