Funeral Friday for WHEATLEY

Beatrice "Bea" WHEATLEY, 91, 406 W. Washington, died at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday at Jefferson County Hospital where she had been a patient since Oct. 2.

Born March 7, 1895 at Uttica in Van Buren County, she was the daughter of Samuel W. and Rhoda DAY McCULLOUGH. She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church and Chapter C, PEO.

She was married to Charles WHEATLEY Dec. 7, 1928 in Fairfield. He died Nov. 4, 1965.

A former resident of Keosauqua, Mrs. WHEATLEY taught school in Milton and Fairfield for nine years and lived in Fairfield since 1918.

She is survived by one daughter, Anna BRENNEMAN; a granddaughter, Sue Ellen BRENNEMAN; a sister, Vera McCULLOUGH, all of Fairfield, and nieces and a nephew.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl Riggs officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
