Albert graduated from East High School and served in the United States Army in the Pacific during WWII. He was a salesman at Reliable and Arthur F. Schultz Co. and had owned Klick and Peters Furniture Store. He was a longtime member and an usher at Blessed Sacrament Church and was active in fundraising and sports.
He was preceded in death by his wife Theresa A. D'Aurora Amendola in June of 2004, and two brothers William and Alfred Amendola.
He is survived by his daughter, Anna Marie Amendola and five sisters; Lena Alo, Ida Amendola, Eleanor Nardin, Irene Schajnacki and Virginia Bonante, husband John, all of Erie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
