Born July 12, 1928, in Fort Mill, she was married to the late Samuel Glenn Withers for 64 years. She was a graduate of Wingate University. She was always involved in church life, and she enjoyed teaching Bible classes and studying the Bible.
Survivors include her two sons, David Withers and his wife, Sue, of Cost, Texas, and Dean Withers and his wife, Janel, of Indian Land; four grandchildren, Amanda Withers Vega, John Withers, Rachel Withers and Dylan Withers; and five great-grandchildren, Nathan Withers, Caroline Withers, Madeleine Vega, Seth Vega and Wyatt Withers.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 26, at Higher Ground Church, conducted by Pastor Steve Jacks.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Saturday, June 25, at Wolfe Funeral Home.
