David A. Thoma, 73, of Fort Collins passed away at Poudre Valley Hospital on June 24, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.
David was born September 17, 1939 in St. Louis, MO to Bert and Olive Thoma. He attended Beaumont High School in Missouri.
In 1962, he married Patricia. They moved to Fort Collins in 1994. David worked for the railroad for 27 years as a switchman, and then retired at age 45. He was a member at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, and also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife Patricia, his son Mike, daughter Sherry, and his sister Judy (Tom) Bagwell-Runzi. He was preceded in death by his parents Bert and Olive Thoma, and his son Steve Thoma.
