Lawrence "Junior" Flax, 41, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Macon, Missouri.

He was born November 2, 1971 at Colorado Springs, Colorado, the son of Lawrence L. Sr. and Betty J. Hoffman Flax.

He was a graduate of Spearville High School, Spearville, Kansas and resident of Macon since March 2003 moving from Dodge City, Kansas. He was a self employed mechanic. He was raised Catholic and was a member of the Macon County Jaycees. He enjoyed mud trucks and mud runs and was a DJ for numerous events.

On June 1, 2013 he married his childhood sweetheart, Holly Winkler Garza at Dodge City. She survives.

Other survivors include: a son, Justice Flax, Fulton, Missouri; 3 daughters, Kendra Adele Flax, Brittany Flax and Daytona Flax all of Fulton, Missouri; 2 step-daughters, Esperanza Garza and Emalea Garza both of Dodge City; his parents, Dodge City; a brother, Godfrey Flax and wife LaShaina Lee Flax, Dodge City; 2 nieces, KaBrena Flax and Ecco Flax both of Dodge City; a great niece, Kaeley Alexander, Dodge City; 2 great nephews, Nathaniel Lollar, Dodge City and Kayden Pope, Saginaw, Missouri; and extended family and friends.
