Lois Helen (Betts) Salese, age 87, of Danbury, died Friday at home. She was the widow of Henry James Salese. Mrs. Salese was born in Danbury on June 13, 1916, a daughter of the late Leroy and Gladys (Shove) Betts.
She was a lifelong Danbury resident and was a graduate of Danbury High School and the Danbury Hospital School of Nursing in 1937. She was a member of AARP and the Danbury Hospital Nurse's Alumni Association.
Lois is survived by two daughters, Sheryll A. Salese of Danbury, Bonnie E. DeLorenzo of Newtown; and three grandsons: Michael Salese, Andrew and Derek DeLorenzo.
In addition to her husband she was predeceased by a son: James L. Salese.
