MRS. BARNEY LINNENKAMP of North Hollywood, California, 61, former Sigourney resident, died on September 8 at a Hollywood hospital. Mrs. Linnenkamp was born at Harper on February 14, 1887, and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Vogel. She spent most of her life in Keokuk county. For many years, she and Mr. Linnenkamp lived on a farm west of Sigourney, later moving to Cedar Rapids before they went to California in 1944.
She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Bernice Bogue, Mrs. LaNore DeSilva and Mrs. Katherine Manville; one son, Byron of Waterloo and nine grandchildren. Also surviving are seven brothers and sisters, George Dumont of Washington; Mrs. Ed Osweiler, Webster; Mrs. George Osweiler, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Lena Osweiler, Hawthorne, California; Ed Vogel of Sigourney; Victor Vogel of Keota and Raymond Vogel of Palms Springs, California.
The funeral service, with a requiem high mass was held at Saint Charles Catholic church in North Hollywood. Interment was in Holy Cross cemetery in Los Angeles.
