Joe Frank was born the son of of the late John Henry & Mary Elizabeth Francis(Emma)Moats Holderfield. On December 7,1919 he married Lola Estell Yarbrough. Lola Estell & Joe Frank Have four children Named, Louise,Lacy Lucille,James Buford (Bill),Frank Hairl.

Funeral services for Joe Frank Holderfield, 65, Hillsboro 2, who died Monday in Corinth, Miss, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fish Pond Baptist Church with burial in Roselawn Cemetery, Rev. William Pullen officiating, Guntharp Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Estell Holderfield; two daughters, Mrs. Louise Harvey, Nashville, Tenn, and Mrs. Lucille Woods, Hillsboro 2; two sons, Frank Holderfield, Scottsboro, and James Holderfield, Decatur; a brother, George Frank Holderfield, Pell City; five sisters, Mrs. Minnie Jordon, and Mrs. Annie Bell Reeves, both of Hillsboro 2; Mrs. Sallie Thrasher, Birmingham; Mrs. Mary Hill, Maine, and Mrs. Duckie Pennington; 25 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Holderfield was a member of the Rising Sun Masonic Lodge No. 29 and the Fish Pond Baptist Church. He had been employed by Southern Railway for the past 43 years.
