Deceased was seventy-six years of age. He had been a resident of this city for many years, moving to Dorchester several years ago.
He is survived by three daughters and one son, Mrs Bert Wells, Mrs Cora Fleming and Frank Chase of Dorchester, and Mrs Eugene Sullivan of Idaho.
Burial services were held Monday afternoon at the cemetery, conducted by the Masonic lodge, Rev W.S. Irvine, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, assisting.
Those from out of the city who attended the funeral were: Mr and Mrs Bert Wells of Abbotsford, Mr and Mrs Charles Fleming of Medford, Mr and Mrs Eugene Sullivan of Orifina, Idaho, Mr and Mrs Frank Chase of Abbotsford, W.W. Crane and daughter, Mrs Arthur Evison, of Stanley, Ed Crane of Owen, Mrs Emma McLeod of Neenah, Mr and Mrs Will F. Crane of Stanley, Mr and Mrs Lewis Crane of Stanley.
