Mr. Hampton was born February 22, 1943 and was a son of the late James G. Hampton and Nora H. Hampton. He served his country in the U.S. Army as an MP in both Germany and Italy. Mr. Hampton was retired from BSG, Inc. of Dallas, Texas after more than 49 years of service. He was a loving husband, beautiful father, grandfather, and brother.
He is survived by his wife, Lupe G. Hampton; three sons, Joseph Guzman of Amarillo, Texas, Greg Guzman of Des Moines, Iowa, and Barret Carter of Amarillo, Texas; two grandsons, Braxton Guzman of Amarillo, Texas and Isaiah Guzman of Des Moines, Iowa; one granddaughter, Bailey Guzman of Des Moines, Iowa; four sisters, Iris H. Bostic of Greenville, Mississippi, Hazel H. Wilks and Melba H. Thomas of Chester, SC, and Norma Jean H. Morrison of Richburg, SC; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald G. Hampton and Gordon W. Hampton; a sister, Naomi H. Williams; a son, Bradley Langford and his first wife, Adell L. Hampton.
