George Walker was the son of Mack and Lillie Walker. As a child, he and his twin brother Lester were very mischievous. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy. Later, he married Eileen T. McCann in Hoosick Falls, NY on September 30, 1946 by the uncle he was named for, Rev. George S. Walker. Their kids were George, Paul, Noreen, Constance, and Eileen. In life, he worked for Oneida Markets in Hoosick Falls and Greenwich and for Prudential Insurance Agency. He was retired when he died at the age of 60 in 1981.`
