By 1900 she was living in a boarding house on 17 Bradford Street, Boston Massachusetts with 9 other people, including Mattie and Jennie Floyd. At the time of the 1900 census she was going to school, but by the time she died of meningitis she was working as a domestic. The City of Boston death record notes that she was black.
