Mrs. Fitzgerald, a homemaker for forty-four years, was born April 10, 1948, in Streeter, Illinois. She had lived in Tracy the past thirty-two years and was a parishioner of St. Bernard's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband of thirty-nine years, Fred Fitzgerald of Tracy; five children, Gary Berner of Manteca, Cindy Fitzgerald-Musich, and her husband, Brian Musich, also of Manteca, Michael Fitzgerald, and his wife, Jeannette, of Chino, Geri Fitzgerald-Eastland, and her husband, Emmett, of Newark and a son, Douglas Fitzgerald, of Tracy; a brother, David Morehouse of Concord; twelve grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were a daughter, Kellie Fitzgerald; and a sister, Virginia Sears.
A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 West Highland Avenue.
Visitation will be observed before the service from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the mortuary.
Burial will follow on Friday, May 31, at 1 p.m. in San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, 32053 McCabe Road, in Gustine.
