James Lee Roy Mathews, 79, Hillsboro Rt. 3, died suddenly Sunday at Highland District Hospital shortly after admission.
He was an employee of the Highland County Farm Bureau Cooperative.
He is survived by his wife, Bertha Ellen Mathews; five daughters, Lorene Mathews at home, Miss Ethel Mathews, Dayton, Mrs.Elizabeth Barney, Dayton, Mrs. Ruth Bowers, Toledo, and Mrs. Grace Watters, Sabina.
Also surviving are seven sons, Harold, Washington C. H., Venie, Xenia, Wendell and Paul, both of Bainbridge, Donald, Greenfield, Glenn, Hillsboro, and Marion, Springfield; 35 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
One son, Clarence preceded him in death about a year ago.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2 P.M. at the Hope Miller Funeral Home
with Rev. Dean Montgomery officiating and burial following in Hillsboro Cemetery.
Eagles services will be held at 7 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Friends may call at the funeral home any time after noon Tuesday.
