Chesapeake - Eugene Carl Warber, 66, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 in Chesapeake, VA. Born on September 15, 1946, he was the son of the late Alfred and Evelyn Warber of Beaver Dam, WI. Gene dedicated over 40 years of his life to the advancement of the youth of the Boy Scouts of America. His last 15 years were in the service of the Tidewater Council, BSA, in Virginia Beach, VA.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Jackie; sons, Mike of Chesapeake, and Jesse and his wife, Alyssa of St. Petersburg, FL; daughter, Stacey of Virginia Beach; brother, Al of Tacoma, WA; and grandchildren, Caden and Mia Warber of St. Petersburg, FL.
The family will greet friends from 3 to 5 pm, Sunday, June 30th at Family Choice Funerals & Cremations, 5401 Indian River Rd., Virginia Beach 23464. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
