The Local Field.
In the death of John Ross, which occurred on the 1st inst., Waldwick lost one of her best and most highly esteemed citizens. He was a native of Ireland; came to this country in 1845, and settled in Waldwick in '63. His age was 73 years, 4 months and 9 days. There survive him a wife, four daughters, (Mrs. Uriah James, Waldwick; Mrs. Jas. Jackson, Mineral Point; Mrs. Geo. Anton, Mifflin; Mrs. Henry Weise, Mineral Point;) and three sons — Alex., John W. and Leslie, all residing in Waldwick.
