Alice was born in Westport, Massachusetts, daughter of George Dewey Manchester and Olive Lillian Devoll. She was the second to the youngest of 12 children. She met her future husband when he was in the U.S. Air Force. They were happily married for over 60 years. She was a very loving person and is SO missed by her family!

Alice M. Stevenson
Alice M. Stevenson, 80, of Manchester, beloved wife for 60 years, died on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Alice was born in Westport, MA, daughter of George D. and Olive (Devoll) Manchester, and had lived in Manchester for many years.
Alice was a wonderful wife, mom and grandmother and loved spending time with her family. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles and needlepoint. She was a loving and caring person and will be missed by all who knew her.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her three daughters; 7 grandchildren; one sister; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her brothers, George, Arthur, Alfred, Milton, Carlton, Kenneth, and Albert Manchester; and her sisters, Mildred Baldwin, Lillian and Doris Manchester.
Services will be private. Donations in her memory may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
