Gerald Dickinson

Gerald "Jerry" Dickinson, 71, 729 Park Ave., Wausau, died peacefully with his family by his side on Friday Oct. 22, 2004, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King.
He was born March 27, 1933, in Stratford, son of the late Leslie and Magdalena (Oelke) Dickinson. On Aug. 2, 1958, Jerry was united in marriage to Beverly Whippler in Wausau. She survives.
Jerry worked at Wausau Hospital for more than 20 years in the maintenance department. He enjoyed his grandchildren, playing cards, watching old movies and Green Bay Packers football games.
Jerry was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War.
Survivors besides his wife (Obituary partly deleted).
Besides his parents Jerry was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell and Eugene Dickinson; two sisers, Audrey and Vivian Dickinson; and sisters-in-law, Joan and Nancy Dickinson.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday Oct. 26, 2004, at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth St., Wausau. Nancy Petulia will officiate. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of services Tuesday at the Sixth Street funeral home."
