Born a twin before the depression. Don and he sister Dorothy were the youngest of Joseph and Ruth nee Andrew Primeau. They were dotted on by all their siblings. In 1925, as the depression set in, the whole family moved to Los Angeles, Ca. Don was a good student and enrolled in the Army in 1940, right out of High School and went on the officers training. During the WWII Don served in the South Pacific and had a distinguished career.
While still in uniform he was introduced to Ruth O'Connel. They Married in 1946 and had a long and loving marriage. Don sold big machinery and Ruth was an officer in a bank. They lived life to it's fullest.
