Franklin Wayne Ayres, 78, of Moore, passed away after a long, brave battle with Parkinson's disease. He was born May 17, 1935 to Sidney & Delores Ayres in Pacific, MO. Franklin served in the Air Force during the Korean conflict. He also served in the Air Force Reserves, the National Guard & was a member of the VFW. He was the owner & manager of Clean It Company for 25 years in OKC. Franklin was a member of Southern Hills Seventh-Day Adventist Church for many years. Franklin enjoyed flying with his son Franklin, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Sherry Ayres; daughters, Christina Ayres, Karen Becker & husband Jeff; daughter-in -law, Shelly Ayres; grandson, Brock Franklin Ayres; 3 sisters, Alena Bartold, Gladys Koenig & Helen Koch; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & other loving family members & friends. The family wishes to thank Sable Saner, step granddaughter, for her two years of tender care giving & companionship to Frank & special thanks to all the Excel Hospice nurses. Funeral services will be held 2:30 PM, Monday, July 1, 2013, at Southern Hill Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1201 W. I-240 Service Rd., OKC. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park OKC, OK. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel Moore, OK.
