Mary Kay Adrian Warth, 66, of Chillicothe, went home to be with the Lord 3:40 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 2013 at her residence unexpectedly.

She was born August 18, 1946, in Chillicothe, to the late John and Eva Downs Adrian.

On February 20, 1965, she married the love of her life and soul mate Joseph D. Warth, who died April 5, 2004.

She is survived by her beloved sons, John (Lisa Kay) Warth, of Frankfort and Michael (Lisa Marie) Warth, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Joseph Warth, Kacie Warth and fiance David Swiggett, Matthew Bowers and Amanda (Casey) Bowers; a great-grandson, Zane Bowers; brothers-in-law, Robert (Norma) Warth and Clyde (Norma) Warth, both of Chillicothe, McKinley (Imogene) Warth, of Mississippi, Charles (Liz) Warth, of Arizona; close cousins, Janie (Harley) Moss, Joy Jordan, Jim Batty, and Jeannie Langendoerfer. Though Kay had no siblings, two dear friends were sisters in her heart since childhood, Joyce Norris and Judy Davis, both of Chillicothe.

She was predeceased by a brother-in-law, George Warth

Kay graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1964. She was the church organist at First Church of God in Chillicothe for 39 years. She played for hundreds of weddings during that time. She enjoyed spending time with her family, church family, and card club friends. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she spoke of them all the time to anyone who would listen. Many people sat at her kitchen table to play a card game, dominoes, or just to talk and laugh. She was always willing to lend an ear and give advice to anyone who asked.

Although she was taken from us suddenly and will be dearly missed by all, we take comfort in knowing she is rejoicing at being reunited with her beloved Joe in Heaven.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2013 in the First Church of God with Pastor Matt Roe and Rev. Greg Pennington officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Margarets Cemetery.

Friends may call at the First Church of God from 11 a.m. until time of service on Friday.
