Born in Waterbury, Conn., he came to North Adams at the age of 23. He was an Army veteran of World War I and served overseas in France, and was employed for many years by the Berkshire Fine Spinning Associates. His wife, the former Eva Monette, died in 1973. He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Stanley W. Sanderson and a son, Halsey A. Hebert, both of North Adams a brother and a sister. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery, North Adams, MA. END:
