Evan Morgan, Esq. was the "worthy and much lamented" father of Ann Bond, as was written on her epitaph. On daughter Sarah Masters' epitaph it is written that she was his second daughter. Evan Morgan was the Husband of Mary. He was a member of the Vestry in Christ Church, and Warden for several years (see tomb inscription). The Morgan and Bond families were neighbors on 2nd Street in Philadelphia.

Father of Sarah who married William Masters; Ann who married Thomas Bond Jr.; and Dr. John Morgan. He may have had other children.

Mr. EVAN MORGAN (Remainder of the inscription not legible) Note- The Records of the Church show that Evan Morgan was buried 13th February, 1763. Mr. Evan Morgan was a member of the Vesty of Christ Church for a number of years; was Warden in 1749 and 1750, and again in 1758 and 1759.
